TrustID digital identity credentials from IdenTrust guarantee the identity of people and
businesses online. These credentials, also called digital certificates, provide the foundation
for all e-business transactions and relationships. By using TrustID credentials, organizations

competitive advantage.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has issued a guideline to replace the use of 1024-bit certificates with 2048-bit certificates by December 31, 2010. Microsoft has implemented this as a requirement, and therefore, IdenTrust, an issuer of browser-based certificates, will need to comply.
By August 1, 2009, IdenTrust will offer 2048-bit certificates.

BUY TRUSTID CERTIFICATES

IdenTrust offers three types of TrustID certificates: Business, Personal and Server Certificates.

Certificates purchased by July 31, 2009 will be 1024 bit certificates.
Certificates purchased after August 1, 2009 will be 2048 bit certificates which is in compliance with NIST and Microsoft

TrustID® Server Certificate
This certificate secures and authenticates a Web or network server using the Secure Socket Layer
(SSL) protocol. To approve your application for a TrustID server certificate, we will confirm the
identity of your organization, its ownership of the domain name you wish to secure, and its
authorization of the application. TrustID server certificates are standard x.509 v3 SSL
certificates that work with all SSL-capable browsers and servers, and IdenTrust Certificates will require a 2048 bit key pair.
